Newbalance x cadence /pacer

Cadence, a collective of runners from Brussels, arrives with the intention of showcasing the new New Balance Elite V3.

To promote this collaboration for the Brussels half-marathon, we aimed to resonate with the Pacer test, a well-known assessment among athletes that evaluates the cardiovascular capacity of a sportsman. The spot kicks off with the activation of the "start" button on a radio cassette containing a voiceover explaining the test, while featuring a group of runners donning the New Balance Elite V3, engaging in the test.

The pace of the spot accelerates in tandem with the Pacer test, with the distance to cover becoming progressively faster.

The advertisement concludes with a trail of flames, added in post-production, evoking the ultimate speed in training, wearing down the sole of the shoe and transforming into flames.

The spot finishes with an invitation to join the Cadence x New Balance duo during the Brussels half-marathon.
